Série “Game of Thrones” lidera lista do 66º Emmy Awards

Na última quinta-feira, foi divulgada a lista do Emmy Awards de 2014. O anuncio da 66ª edição foi feita ao vivo pela atriz Mindy Kaling, do The Mindy Project e Carson Daly, apresentador do The Voice.

A premiação mais importante da televisão ocorrerá em 25 de Agosto, em Los Angeles e contará com a apresentação de Seth Mayers, conhecido pelo trabalho no Saturday Night Live.

E Game of Thrones lidera a lista com 19 indicações, seguida por Fago com 18 indicações, American Horror Story – Coven e Breaking Bad com 17 indicações cada.

A categoria de Melhor Ator de série de Drama Bryan Craston, em Breaking Bad compete com Kevin Spacey, de House of Cards, Jon Hamm, Mad Man, Jeff Daniel, de The News Room, almém de Woody Harrelson e Matthew McConaughey, por True Detective.

E a categoria de Melhor Atriz de serie de Comédia, Lena Duhham, de Girls, Mellisa McCarthy, por Mike e Molly, Edie Falco, de Nursie Jackie, Taylor Schilling, de Orange is The New Black, Amy Poehler, de Parks and Recreation e Julia Louis-Dreyfus, de Veep se enfrentam pela estatueta.
